REQ: Serenity--Hisagi

FOR THE LOVE OF PELICANS, I FINISHED THIS ONE IN ONE DAY AND YET I ALREADY SUFFERED MUCH WHILE TRYING TO WORK ON IT
I honestly REALLY love the theme of this request, I really do, I love those kinds of mother/son relationship pictures for some reason. I don't know, maybe because my main character is a mother and I get all fuzzy when parent-child relationships happen in all their glory.
BUT ANYWAY. THE STORY BEHIND THIS PICTURE
I really was excited to get this started and before long, I thought "hey, how about I try to do a non-anime style with it and try to do that without people's help?"
Well... hell happened... I suffered long and hard, my laziness showed up, bit me back for poor attempts to get cheap with background so I redid it (at least it looks decent now) and everything... Please don't kill me, I tried to do some experimenting with a little different style and tried to aim for something semi-realistic and now I have no idea what it became *SOBS*
But non the less, this took me the whole day, my hands refuse to draw any more backgrounds for the time beind so I'll let them rest from that by doodling some character patches that are coming up.
Hope you like it, anyway, and if you have any tips to give about what you see right now and what didn't turn out well in the image, PLEASE LEAVE A FEEDBACK. Because I am genuinely willing to improve humanoid style of any aspect whenever I get a chance to.
... shaiteez, I might have gotten some idea with the background wrong, I'm sorry Serenity--Hisagi if I did;v; but I still hope you like it.
